Laws of the Club
a private membership club — for those of mankind only

the club, its website, directory, and all that is offered through or within it, is provided by i: a man; Kyle Henson, on an “as is” basis, in the private;
the rules of the club are as follows and become law once you agree to the agreement of membership; your use of the club’s website or directory in any manner confirms your agreement;
i, as a man, speak to you always as a man or woman only;
I. The Club & The Private Domain
1.
Fyreside Club is a private membership club; all activity within the club — including access to the member directory, correspondence between members, and any stay or use of private property arranged through the club — occurs within the private domain only; nothing offered or transacted within the club constitutes a commercial transaction on a public marketplace;

i, as the man who hosts the club, speak to all members as men and women only; the club exists to honour the sovereignty of the host, the trust of the guest, and the sanctity of private agreement between men and women of good will;
3.
the club, its website, its directory, its member community, its name, its badge system, and all creative work produced by or for the club are the property of i; all who make use of any of them do so as a man or woman only, in the private, and take full responsibility for their use; no member may use the Fyreside Club name, marks, or creative work for any commercial or public purpose without the prior written consent of the man, Kyle Henson;
II. Membership

membership is open to those age 18 and over only; a man or woman becomes a member when they complete the agreement of membership and their annual membership fee is received; by completing the agreement of membership, a member confirms they are age 18 and over, acting in their own right and private capacity;
5.
membership grants access to the member directory, direct correspondence with other members, private agreement templates, and the member community;
6.
membership is annual; the fee is published at fyreside.club; membership fees are non-refundable; a member may choose not to renew at the end of their membership year;
7.
we reserve the right to refuse, suspend, or cancel membership at our sole discretion, whether or not a fee has been paid; we will write to the member to say so;
8.
a member may cancel their membership at any time by writing to us at hello@fyreside.club; upon cancellation, access to the directory and member community will end; private agreements already made with other members remain in force between those members;
III. The Directory & Listings
9.
the member directory is private; it is accessible to active members only and is not published to the public or to any outside party;
10.
property listings, photographs, and descriptions posted to the directory are the property of the member who created them; by posting them to the directory, a member grants the club a limited right to display them to other active members for the purpose of facilitating private connections; this right ends when the member removes the listing or cancels membership;
11.
hosts are responsible for the accuracy of their listings; a host agrees that the property described is under their lawful care or ownership, and that they have the right to offer it for private use by fellow members;
12.
members agree not to share, copy, reproduce, or distribute any listing, photograph, or member information obtained through the directory outside of the club, without the written consent of the man or woman who created it;
IV. Private Agreements & Stays
13.
all stays and uses of private property arranged through the club are governed by private agreements made directly between the hosting member and the guest member; the club is not a party to those agreements and does not arbitrate, enforce, or guarantee them;
14.
hosts set their own terms; what a host permits on their property, what compensation they require, what conduct they expect, and what verification or vetting they ask of guests are matters entirely between the host and the guest; the club’s principle is: your property, your terms;
15.
all compensation for stays flows directly between members; members may agree to any form of private payment — including but not limited to Zelle, Venmo, cash, cheque, or Bitcoin; the club never handles, processes, or takes any portion of stay compensation; the membership fee is the only amount owed to the club;
16.
a guest member agrees to honour the terms of any private agreement they make with a host; to treat the land, structures, and surroundings with care; to leave the property as they found it or better; and not to bring additional persons beyond those agreed with the host;
17.
disputes arising from individual stays are matters between the members involved; the club encourages peaceful remedy between the parties; the club may offer guidance but does not arbitrate or issue refunds; any unresolved dispute that cannot be settled by peaceful remedy between the parties shall be submitted to binding arbitration by a single arbitrator, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, before any other action may be taken;
V. Personal Responsibility & Safety
18.
all who access a property, attend a gathering, or participate in any activity through the club do so as a man or woman only, in their own right; each takes full responsibility for their own circumstances, safety, and wellbeing, and for the safety of any guests or minors they bring; a member who brings a minor onto any property accepts full responsibility for that minor’s safety and conduct;
19.
outdoor and recreational activities carry inherent risk; each member acknowledges this and agrees not to hold the club, i as the man who hosts it, or any other member responsible for injury, loss, or harm arising from their own choices, actions, or failure to exercise reasonable care;
20.
each member agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the club and the man Kyle Henson from any claim, loss, or liability brought by a third party arising from that member’s conduct, presence on a property, or failure to comply with these laws or the terms of a private agreement;
21.
each member is responsible for knowing and following the laws of the land as they apply to their stay or activity — including any required licences for hunting, fishing, or other regulated activities; compliance with any applicable local, state, or federal law is the sole responsibility of the member;
VI. Member Conduct
22.
each member agrees to treat every other man or woman within the club with kindness, honesty, and respect; a member who is abusive, aggressive, dishonest, menacing, or harassing toward any other member, and who does not make remedy to the satisfaction of the one wronged, will have their membership cancelled and will lose access to the club and all it offers, whether or not a fee has been paid;
23.
each member takes full responsibility for any content they post in the directory, in member messaging, or in any community space offered through the club; content that is unlawful, deceptive, harassing, or damaging to another member may be removed at our sole discretion;
24.
members agree not to use the club, its directory, or member correspondence for any purpose other than private recreational stays and land use among fellow members; commercial solicitation, spam, or misuse of member contact details is not permitted and is grounds for immediate cancellation;
VII. The Badge System
25.
the club offers a badge system as a means of building trust between members through real, shared experience; badges are earned by completing and validating stays — not by anonymous opinion or star rating;
26.
following a stay, both the hosting member and the guest member may independently validate the stay within 7 days; validation is a simple confirmation that the stay was completed and that the member was satisfied; once both members validate, the stay is recorded and each member’s badge progresses;
27.
badges progress through four tiers — Spark, Ember, Flame, and Bonfire — reflecting a member’s history of validated stays as a host, a guest, or both; badges are displayed on member profiles for the benefit of the club community;
28.
the badge system is a community trust tool only; it does not constitute a review, rating, endorsement, or guarantee by the club of any member, host, property, or stay;
VIII. Member Information & Privacy
29.
any information a member provides to the club is provided in the private; we consider that information to be the member’s property; we will respect it and keep it private; we will not sell, trade, or share member information with any outside party;
30.
a member may request a copy of any information the club holds about them; a member may also request that their information be deleted; to do so, write to us at hello@fyreside.club;
31.
the club’s website makes use of cookies; by using the website, a member agrees to the placement of cookies on their device; cookies may be removed or declined at any time through the member’s browser settings;
IX. Changes to the Laws
32.
we have the right to change these laws whenever we feel it is needed; we will write to all active members when we do so; a member’s continued use of the club following notice of a change will signify their acceptance of the updated laws; a member who does not agree to the changes may cancel their membership by writing to us at hello@fyreside.club;
33.
these laws apply to all activity offered by or through the club, whether it takes place online or at any physical location;
